Great car count, good racing, cold beer and all that for only $8. Maybe the tracks are charging more $ than there worth.....I think Ocala proved that last night.

I've seen too many shows that charge twice the admission, and have 1/3 the amount of cars. Something like 18 different races (and NO intermission I might add), almost every race had at least some excitement, with most of them being VERY exciting.

THIS is the way to run a racing program. It was both affordable and entertaining. I hope a bunch of those fans (and there were a lot of them) are newcomers to racing, I'm sure they will be back and bringing a few friends with them next time.




Only ONE complaint though... get some more girls working the beer booth. I missed at least 2 heat races waiting for a beer. The line was never short enough to think that job should be handled alone. Not to mention, a bunch of people that were in line, just gave up and went back to their seats. No business owner likes to hear of "lost sales". This is one profit center that could have made a lot more...!

Mike and Angie...... I have lots of vacation time on the books, I can come up there and do the interviews for additional beer girls. Always glad to help out where needed and I trust my friend Jerry's assessment on this issue.

...$3 for a small cup of draft beer is pretty crappy. Probably only making $2.50 including the cup! I drank two and wasted three pairs of drawers the next day!! Hell, sell canned beer for the same price and even though you'll make less per sale, you'll probably sell a hell of a lot more! I
would have drank 6 or more myself! You could probablly even get the beer distributors in Ocala "fighting" for your business! You could even be "GREEN " by providing recycling barrels! Just sayin....

I didn't think it was a good idea to put the Metamucil in the beer. You should have worn OSF's depends.
