New Dirt Website in Town

Thanks to my brother Rick Smith, I now have a brand new DIRT only website www.floridadirttracknews.com. We cover Volusia, Eastbay, Putnam, North Florida, Hendry County, and Ocala. If you look at the top, there is a forum where you can post - BULLETIN BOARD.

This is ONLY the beginning as hopefully we grow and grow. Thanks to Rick Warren and Jim Jones for all their help and to my brother Rick for all his. Everyone is welcome and eventually we will profile all the dirt track owners, general managers, officials and staff and have one driver profile a week. We have BIG, BIG plans and hope you all will come to visit.

Sorry, I forgot this one. If you would like to send us a story on your family and something that happened at a dirt track, please feel free to send it. We welcome your stories and will gladly post them. I know alot of you have some good stories about how racing has brought your family closer together and we welcome all of them. Thanks again.

I am sure you will take this new adventure and run with it...I'm sure there will be lots of good reading to come.

Grew up with asphalt, but sure do enjoy a good close race with the clods flying and hitting all the people around me (as long as I don't get hit). Some nights I get home and take off my glasses and look like some beast that I am not lol.

The site looks pretty good! I see that the latest Ocala news is posted, which is great. If I need to add an address to the Ocala media list, then please send it to me. That way you will get results and news as soon as I send it out. If you want, contact Winger and he will add you to the photography list as well.

Thanks B.J. I should be okay since you do send me your media now for karnac and I am pretty sure Winger does photos but to make sure I am racingjls@aol.com. And eventually, I will profile all the Ocala staff, officials, and owners also. We want the world to know about our great dirt tracks and all the people behind them. But if you have a banner for our joint races in October for the Late Model Fall Nationals, I would love it and will put it on the site. We will build it up really big for sure.

Thanks again and feel free to write a few stories on your experiences with announcing and dirt racing. I would like to have human interest stories for everyone to read and I know you have some of those. Or it can be something on a race or racer but please feel free to write as much as you like.
