    couple of points:
Briggs & Stratton didn't have a thing to do with the "design of the go-kart".

i like how the father, who bought the go-kart, took the boy to the track and put him out there, claims that there was "no adult supervision". i agree.

I feel sorry for the boy who was injured.....

But to the parents all I can say is

    DUH.....
The race track did nothing wrong!!
You 'took' him there to drive the thing.
Good thing you didn't want to go skydiving !!

Why doesn't someone ask the parents "what kinda parent are you?" for letting their son drive WITHOUT any supervision?
If people would just admit when they do something wrong, instead of trying to blame it on everyone else, this world would be alot better off.

ahh Parents admitting that they were at fault... Oh boy, don't say anymore because some F...ing schmuck might try suing you for his/her kids crash next time when they weren't paying attention or making sure that their child was safe...

Honestly though I am fortunate to be around a couple of parents at NSS that really take the extra step to make sure that their children are safe when they go out on the track... Now mind you, not all of them, but for the most part the ones that I am familiar with make sure that they are safe....
