Don't get mad at me PLEASE, but whose website is not updated. I know Volusia, New Smyrna, Orlando, Citrus, Ocala, Five Flags are always updated. And the answer is yes, it is very important to keep your website updated with the latest news, race results, upcoming events, and hopefully stories. Now with Larry gone at Citrus, not sure who will write for them but I have always gotten his story by Sunday evening, Tom Bradley's for Desoto, Larry at Eastbay, mine of course for Volusia, B.J.'s for Ocala, and Five Flags is pretty good about sending me their's.

Websites are alot of work but you have to be dedicated to your track and understand how important those simple things are like results, etc. I did my best to keep Columbia updated although sometimes I would not always get the results until the middle of the week but I understand Erlene had other things in her life to do besides send me the results and points. But the first thing I do on the weekend starting Friday night is start posting results to karnac for the Friday night tracks. Then I go to Volusia, write, come home and put up results from whatever tracks that have sent them to me for karnac, write my story either the wee hours of the morning and first thing Sunday morning, post more results coming in, and try and keep it all updated.

Soon I will be adding more to my work as I am doing my own dirt track news site for all the dirt tracks in Florida. Something like karnac but strictly dirt. No one really knows the dirt drivers like they do asphalt and there are some GREAT dirt drivers and plenty of action on dirt. I can't wait until it is ready for the world to see. But it takes time updating a website and alot of work.

Anyway, sorry that some aren't updated as fast as you want but when I did Orlando, New Smyrna, Columbia and the four tours, I tried, if nothing else, to have results up before you got up in the morning and then I would work on the stories. When I did Orlando's last year, I put up results before I left the track if nothing else. But it does take time and work.

Now, gotta get ready to go to Orlando's grand re-opening then to Volusia tomorrow for the "Gotta Chance Race" which is going to be loads and loads of fun. And next week, I get to be there for 3 days - going to love it.

No matter where you go this weekend, have a good safe weekend and support your local track.

    See ya - me
