  • Congrats to Rich Clouser... SLM - Bright House Winner at NSS

Rich Clouser held off BJ McLeod and some other strong competition including Daniel Webster, Corey Freed, David Rogers and more, to take his first Super Late Model win last night at NSS in the Bright House Challenge Series 50...

In his 2009 SLM / Bright House Series debut Rich has finished 7th, 5th, 5th, 4th, 2nd and now 1st! (not to mention he took the Late Model win last Saturday night at NSS!)

With ONE race remaining in the 2009 Bright House Challenge Series, Rich is now just 12 points behind David Rogers and just 12 ahead of Daniel Webster in the Point Standings for the '09 title...

Don't miss the final Bright House Challenge Series Race on Saturday October 10th as the 'chase' for the 2009 title comes down to the wire!

Rich is a class act and you won't find any better than Rich. I have watched him race dirt and asphalt and known him for many, many years. Rich has been going thru alot of hard problems lately but as always, he did not and has not let it stop him. Rich has always been a clean racer and will race you hard, side-by-side and not touch you.

I well remember when he and Chad Pierce began racing together many, many years ago and it was a great time. Then he tried dirt at Thundercross and ended up winning the Street Stock Championship at Desoto Super Speedway where I also traveled to watch him along with the time he raced St. Augustine for awhile. Rich has proven to me over and over, if it gots wheels, he can drive it and has.

Alex favorite memory is the weekend we went to Desoto to see Rich race and Alex got to spend the night with Rich and his family at a campsite on the way home. Kimber, Jennifer and I all came home but they stayed and boy, did Alex have fun. We have had alot of great times together and I am sure many more adventures still yet to come.

After Volusia rained out last night, I was lucky enough to make it to New Smyrna and see Rich race and win. The story is up on the front page of karnac. Congratulations Rich, you ran a great race as always. And don't forget Mark, he was our Goodyear Challenge Late Model Champion also for a few years.

Love you Rich and Jenn and you ran a great race last night.
