Volusia Speedway Park has Change in Schedule from Rainout last Night

Final points night (which was rained out last night) has been moved to October 3rd, this Saturday.

The Gotta Chance Night scheduled for next Saturday will now be run on October 17th and the track will be open. The Gotta Chance Night is open to all Modifieds, Sportsman, Street Stocks, Mini Stocks, Thunder Stocks and 4 Cylinder Challengers that have NOT won a race this year at Volusia. Kindof cool really.

Presented by the Volusia County Fair Dirtoberfest will run on October 8th thru 10th at Volusia. Thursday night, October 8th, will be open practice night for all divisions. Friday, October 9th, it will be qualifying plus an Octoberfest Party and full programs for Thunder Stocks and 4 Cylinder Challengers. On Saturday, October 10th, there will be a pancake breakfast, Racer Swap Meet and lots and lots of racing. PLUS there will be FREE camping for the three day event.

The Pancake Breakfast will be from 9 am to 11 am with the Swap Meet from 11 am to 2 pm.

Late Models will run for $2500 to win with Sportsman and Modifieds going for $1500 to win. Street Stocks will run for $1000 to win. Thunder Stocks and 4Cylinder Challengers will go for $500 to win.

I guess you won't even consider qualifying the latemodels on Sat.? If not, I'm going to Ocala on Friday instead, then head to VCS afterwards with my camping stuff!

Sorry guys - it is October 3rd - MY MISTAKE. And call Tonya and talk to her at Volusia about qualifying and stuff. I am sure she will be glad to answer any questions for you. Remember, I am only the writer and cannot answer any technical questions but call her. But the October 2nd was my mistake and I have changed it for you Jim and Denise.
