ASA / CCMP Challenge update!!!! The Crowning of a Championship!!!!
On Friday 9-25-09. Ron Vaney from the ASA Late Model Series South and I spoke at 10:00 AM. We are going to have the ASA / CCMP Challenge. And it will be run on this format.
The ASA cars will be at 2650 lbs and 59% left. They will be score as ASA only. Their ASA Official Qualifying and Finish order will be based on the ASA cars only. The CCMP car will not be counted within their points case.
The CCMP Late Model will race by their current rule package. They will have the $100.00 Entry, and race on the Official Hoosier tires. They will be Racing for the Bragging Rights of the SOUTH!!!!
This Race will Crown the 2009 ASA Late Model Series South Champion. At this point Drew Brannon has only to start and clinch the CHAMPIONSHIP of the Nationally Recognized Series. BUT WAIT!!!! The REAL Race is for second. Dustin Dunn has chased Drew all year to only have runner up position having three others wanting to steel it away from him. Check out this points chase:

If that’s not enough to make you come? Look at the Rookie of the Year Championship. There is only 12 points stopping Stephen Nasse steeling it from Austin Kirkpatrick. NASCAR can only hope for this amount of DRAMA at their final Event (Go Mark Go!!!!).
So make your plans for the “SHOOTOUT at the CCMP Corral”.
