    On September 21st, the race community began mourning the loss of an outstanding and beloved member of our racing family. Edward "Eddie" R. Brann Jr., 43 of Pinellas Park was the the owner of EBR Fabrication and a strong supportor and active member of Florida circle track racing. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Barbie, his daughter, Alyssa, his son, JOshua; his mother Betty Brann; 5 sisters, Sheryl(Jim) Shearer, Karen (Steve) Sedgwick, Debra (Alvan) Donald, DIane (Dale) Peasley and Sandy (Robert) Homeier, and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial service will be held Friday, September 25, 2009 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Liberty Baptist Church, 9401 4th St N., St. Petersburg, FL. In Lieu of flowers, the family asks, that donations be mailed to Alyssa Brann Scholarship Fund, C/O Barbara Brann, P.O. Box 1623, Pinellas Park, FL 33780.

    Charlotte County Motorsports Park would like to offer our condolences to the the family and friends of Eddie Brann. There will be a moment of silence dedicated on his behalf at this weekends races. A collection hat will be distributed both this weekend and next weekend for collections toward the "Alyssa Brann Scholarship Fund" in Eddie's memory.

    Please keep him and his Family in your hearts and in your prays.
    Eddie you will be missed, but you will never be forgotten!!!!!
