Will not happen. the NASCAR deal of time trials and the fastest in the front is what goes on. I guess the fact that they race in the northeast and do not start the faster cars up on the pole is a Yankee thing.
At least the double file restart MIGHT filter down but do not hold your breath.
When I got the info for the Eastern States 200 I will post them.
Can you just think what 56 modifieds on a 5/8 mile track will be like!!

I'm sure if a promoter would build and promote a race like this, make it a marquis race, a crown jewel, it would work.

The scenario is kinda easy, copy//paste of the Milk Bowl, just apply to the class of cars of your choosing. Can be dirt or asphalt, doesn't matter. The 3//50 laps segments, inverted, creates a lotsa of action and passing. Makes a hell of a show. The place will be pack solid with fans and racers alike.

Us northerners know this Andre. The "rebels" down here just don't like having to race for a win. They would rather start pole and non-drive to a win. Yeah, there are exceptions, but this is just a simple fact.
