I was at Bronson a few years ago when Mark Martin was there with his son Matt, who was running in a truck race. During the intermission, Mark came out to the front stretch and talked with the track announcer for a few minutes. I'm sure that he had probably answered every one of those questions a thousand times already, but he never acted like it was a burden. A real class act. Was it Karma that Mark finished ahead of Montoya yesterday?

like, how long has Montoya already been sitting there?

keep in mind, being tied down to a chair like an interview monkey for hours isn't where this started. Nascar drivers who finish well have a microphone shoved in their face from the moment they come off the track and it might not stop for hours.

being that this was the last ( suppposedly ) interview remaining, yah, he should have gone ahead and done it. did he even know that?

i like how the reporter says "I'm not going to make a federal case out of this..." after he started the segment whining about how "I had a rough day". he poo poo's how hard it was for Montoya, nothing happened to him but sitting there on his butt waiting for an interview.
