  • An outstanding night

NSS had excellent door-to-door battles for the lead in every class:
late model: Clouser and Donnatti (a few times)
sportsaman: Reynolds and Todd (for at least 12 laps)
    mini stock: Blair and Allison
    super stock: Korpi and Holley
strictly stock: Hindman, Soloman, Kirby, Brannon and others
modified: Boyd and Bruns (I didn't see much of this race)

The car count improved by 15 or so, and even the spectator races, of which I am no fan, were very entertaining.

If they had a bad night, I'd tell you about it, but the fact is I thought it was an excellent show from start to finish.

One suggestion: next time you have a powder puff race, run the Strictly Stocks earlier in the show so they can cool off and get minor repairs. It makes no sense to run the two races back to back.

    One correction:
Modified:Boyd and Chad Pierce had the battle of the night, side by side for most of final 12 laps, with Pierce getting it done from the high side on the final restart. Congrats to the #38 Team!!

It was good to see Chad and dd38 win. I was busy in tech and not paying much attention to that race.
