  • Transponders

just wandering if any tracks around here have thought about using them . I know that it might be an unwanted expense for some but it would make it easier for scorers and officials.

I quit fishing because there was no one handing out money at the docks when i got back. Why did you quit racing?

We use the transponders for the Charity Truckers 200 weekend !

We use them and they have worked very well, a couple small glitches but they overall have benn great to have

The problem bringing them to the track is the initial cost and then the up
    keep etc.

Ocala has used them as well with both dirt and asphalt racing, and had good results with them. However, we do not use them on a regular basis. Only for special events. And the downside? Well, Rick already covered that.

Michael.. I do know they are available at VSP... Ricky from Taylor brings them out in the parts van...

again one must remember that the track also must have the systems set up as well...
