The car above is nice $75,000 plus the cost of the donor car but here is a link to something a little more my style.

I was actually looking for an article that I read in 1997 in one of my magazines that was very similar to the link posted expect the builder not only used all of the Vette chassis, drive train and suspension in his shoe box but he also incorporated ALL of the interior. It was the most amazing car I have ever seen. I believe the car that I am looking for also won a couple of awards at the SEMA show in 1997.

Here is what was on top of the pictures that my dad sent to me actually back in January...

        This little Chevy is cool!

This car was built by N2A motors (No Two Alike). Cost $40,000 over cost of new Corvette C6 (MSRP $44,000). Unbelievable! The company is planning a production run of about 100 vehicles. It sits on a Corvette C6 chassis, front styled like a 57 Chevy, side like a 58, rear like a 59. Hence the designation '789'

http://www.carandsuv.co.nz/videos/be...a-zr1-corvette here the vette actually gets off the ground some while chasing the $300k+ lambo

http://www.v8.co.nz/videos/corvette-zr1-burnouts I love it when he hits 2nd gear.

a couple of videos pertaining to the new ZR-1, I would still rather have the 57 Bel Air one the Vette chassis but you still have to appreciate the horse power of the new ZR-1.
