There will be 5 categories:

We will also have souvenir pit passes for your admission and a full color program, if you have photos that you would like included you can mail a copy (NO ORIGINALS) the address listed below. Copies will NOT be mailed back.

We will also have a website: hialeahspeedwayreunion.com that will allow you to purchase tickets for the event once available.

Have you thought about doing it at the Marion Edwards race at Orlando???? I know that last year there was a LOT of excitement going in to that race...too bad Ma Nature had to ruin it!

How are things in the Carolina's?

good idea Rusty... many of the old timers from Hialeah don't live down there anymore (including Ronnie!!)....

The reunion is a great idea, but I think it should be kept in So. Florida.
While it is true many old timers have moved away, there are more still here than not. A trip to Orlando may not be an option for many people.

Hialeah Speedway Reunon

So many of the Hialeah Speedway folks (fans, drivers, owners etc) have moved away that it would be pointless to even consider holding it in South Florida. Central Florida is a much better option. As for holding it in conjunction with any race, not a good idea. People want to gather in an atmosphere away from an actual race where conversatons can be held, photo albums and scrapbooks shared and friendships renewed. Also, this will end up being a reunion of people who attended the old Palm Beach Fairgrounds, old Hollywood, Miami-Hollywood, Medley etc.
