  • In Car Video Of Asa Delco Road Race Stock Car

Some pretty good footage of an ex ASA Delco stock car road racing at Portland International Raceway. The car is powered by the Lingenfelter LS1 motor that makes 430 hp. Car driven by Randy Blaylock. They seem to run stronger than that.

check out the vintage Nascar 1963 Mercury out there at about the 3:00 mark.

    Holy Crap!

That's so frickin awesome!Looked like He was trying a little too hard to stay up with the vette when he looped it. I think I may have said the "f" word at the same time he did! Did he slam the other car? Bummer. God, if i won the lottery.....Thanks Bosco!

I don't think he touched the other car at all. He saw the other car turn down on
him, pinched it down to avoid him and spun. Good thing he did or he would have punched him.

I have Byron Koury converting a fuel injected Corvette LS6 motor to carb for me right now. It will go in my Bemco built ASA type stock car. It used to have a 650 hp 18 degree SBC but the LS motors will just run so much longer between rebuilds. I can live with the reduced power.
