  • A good day for a rain date

Did anyone race in Florida last night? It looks like everyone rained out. Today would have been a good opportunity to schedule a Sunday afternoon race. Yes, it will be hot, and yes football is on. But why not try it once? Especially on a weekend like this where the forcast has been bad for several days; there would have been time to get the word out.

I think the results may have been ok. Even if you relaxed the tire and division rules for a day, it is possible you could tap into the frustrated racers and fans who were all dressed up with no where to go.

    My Answer....

NO. Fans usually want Sunday off for church, movies, sleeping late, and Sunday dinner with family. Oh, and Football. Cowboys are playing Tampa in Tampa today. Gonna be a great game and being raised in Dallas, guess who I'm rootin' for.....

Ocala, you can stay home. I don't give a crap about football and would much rather race.

Most nerds don't care for football.

Speaking of nerds the only team I can root for is the Cleveland Steamers my fantasy football team.

I still pull for the fish.

Have more, and more revealing, but, it would probably be my last post on this board.
OSF sent them to me so you know they are 'BAD'(or good depending on how you look at them). I need to hook up my 'puter to my 60" TV for a monitor.

                  NO RAIN OUT.......
                  COWBOYS WIN 34-21 !!

Just a note here too. The stands had a lot of empty seats in Tampa for a BIG game.
The Wash/Giants game on now, the stands are full.

That's because they don't know any better... And the beer is cheaper at the stadium than the bar.... Otherwise they would have stayed home....

There is only one team in the NFL... that is.....
