Went to Desoto Saturday man I was shocked to see the low car count. What happened? Guys support your local race track before it’s too late

Yea I met an ex Desoto fan at East Bay saturday,said he lost all respect for John and would not go there. you hear that all the time. It is not worth going there unless they have late models or TBARA. Both will race there this month.

The race results from this past Saturday night show SIXTEEN total entries.... this might be new record low, for any pavement track in Florida. This is really, really sad for Florida stock car racing.

John has run that facility into the ground. Even if someone bought the track now, they are going to have repave it, and do numerous repairs thoughout the facility, all of which will take money.

Hell, they didn't even have to open the 2nd pack of hamburger bunns for such a small crowd.

That OWM race must have been a doozie.... start 1,2,3 and finish 1,2,3 - to much excitement for me. Glad Ralphie won, but did he have to shift out second during that ball busting race to do it.

Another HOT night like that and they won't be able to turn on the lights.

us bombers had 20 + just 2 years ago, many have moved up, quit racing, money stops them from racing.
Sure would be nice to get them cars back and have some fun on the high banks again

i don't even believe that about desota

last time i was there they had 28 modifieds and none of them were junk why would they even put three cars on track

Russ Thomson is an older guy and runs Legends Cars of Florida... They ran a tour race at Desoto, but their results are never provided or posted on their website... I expect they probably had 15-20 cars there...
I hope Russ sees your post... he'll think it's funny since his son has run Legends up thru ARCA for the past several years...

Dammit - that's what happens when I post before I go to bed. I thought "LEGENDS - LEG 10 OR LESS" meant for kids around the age of ten or something and that only one car raced...

I've seen one legends car race itself at Bithlo Falls, so I thought that's what happened here as well.
