I started on the BFP last night, and I am going to work on it most of today. Give me an Idea who wants one please. $10 + $2 Postage. I am looking to mail copy's Monday barring any mishaps. It was my pleasure Carol. I got to rub elbows with guys I grew up with and around. Some I didn't know, some I didn't remember, and some I saw race many times. I had heard stories about all at one time or another. Alot of which I got on tape. In my wildest dreams I'd never imagined Jimmy Cope, Dick Anderson, and Leroy Porter sitting at the same table talking and cutting up on Mic. Now that was special. I would order one Bob but I am dead broke right now but when I get $12, I will definitely send it to you. Although we only got a short hug for a second, you were running and I was running, it was great seeing you. Sunday was a blast, hot, but a blast. I look forward to the next one on a cooler day and alot more guys. I told Ms. Sandy that I would start working on a list for drivers we need to invite that were not there but should have been.

Hope to see you again soon and sorry I was not there Wednesday at the funeral with you and Robert but my car decided not to start. I think I have a ghost in it and it starts when it wants to. Supposedly my neighbor has it fixed now but thank goodness it did not pull this trick when I was at Lake City. I would have been really stuck for sure.

Ive got you down Jimmy. I know what you mean man. We haven't been on a vacation in about 5 years. I miss those days with the payed vacation. I may be that long editing. I got into it and I realized Don Narone was swallowing the mic and was holding it 12 inches away from the others. Its slow going but we'll get it. I think you'll enjoy it. I was blown away with the guys I grew up with and around telling their storys. I hope we can do this next year and maybe more will come after they see what we did at this one.

OSF Sez - I'll Take One

Same economy issues as the rest of the U. S. of A. Just cancelled my vacation plans (for October to go to the mountains to see the change of leaves...) Priorities indicate I better save for future days (very bleak days at that).

Just like the rest of the world... money is scarce. I'm not poor mouthing, but it looks like I'm the same shape as many others.

Since I wasn't able to afford to go to this big bash, I can at least spring for a copy, so put me down.

Gotha OSF. Yeah man we are all in the same boat. I am trying to do all I can to make what I do more affordable. I cut cost where I can. We stay 1 step ahead of our mortgage payment. I ain't poor mouthing either, but I thank God I have a mortgage and place to work and hang my hat at night. Its gotta get better sooner or later. With my luck it'll be later. Bob...

Hope it gets better sooner for all of us. Economy right now SUCKS BIG TIME. You have to save every penny and every penny counts. Too bad bread isn't 25 cents like it was many years ago or hamburger 50 cents a pound. Nowadays you hate even going to the store because you know everything' has gone up again. But what can we do but the best we can do for now. Most people I know are in the same boat for sure but my mom keeps saying things will get better so let's hope so.

Thanks Jane, I know you would. I made a lot of headway tonight. Its just a matter of splitting the interview scenes and lowering Dons audio and raising every one elses. I guess I have to take most of the blame. Don was just talking to old friends and he happened to be holding a mic. LOL! I should have given him better instructioins, but as I remember Don doesn't follow instructions well. I got thru the interviews and got a few races down. I'll listen to the interviews agin tomorrow when my mind is clearer. It will probably only take me an extra couple days at best. Its all good. I love what I do and I love racing, so the two go together well. Thanks Bob...
