There was a great turn-out of veteran drivers and race fans today at CMP!

In the first photo, we see that OSF was on hand. He brought a guitar and entertained the group with some fine folk singing.

Any time there is racing, someone will be unhappy in tech. Today was no exception.

Some of the older drivers have really let themselves go.

Racing is not a hobby, it is a way of life. The competitive fire still burns in many of today's participants!

After playing all those OLD tunes for everyone for 6 hrs, I was able to buy an 8 oz diet soda.... (Sure didn't take long to count all those coins).

he is a good man and he went to columbia to meet your skinny ass but couldnt find you and didnt know it was you in that blue car that squeeze the pace car down in the turn and if he did know it was you he would have come over and say hi cause thats how he rolls you should be so lucky as to meet him someday he is a good man and he is my buddy

i think i remember him from the same school i went to a bunch of years ago we might have been in the same class but i cant remember him for sure but my teacher was named bobby something but he dont teach anymore i think he does something with the circus or something like that or maybe the greatest show in town i am not sure but i know he dont teach no more and i know he was a good teacher cause if you liked to learn you sat on one side and if you didnt like to learn you sat on the other side and he didn't bother you as long as you didn't bother him.

Hey OSF....

Get your story straight. I went high in the turn and the pace car drifted up toward me.(according to some witnesses) I watched her line and figured I cleared her out of the turn. But being behind me and how close I came to the back stretch wall,causing my rider to FREAK OUT, that's racin'. The young lady driving "her" pace car did an outstanding job too. We watched her wheel that banana colored hot rod around for pace laps,and she knows how to drive it.
I had to challenge her with only five of my six cyl, and disconnected back 2 barrels to keep from hurting the motor even more. Still hit the rev limiter at 7800 though, in third gear.

All aside...I HAD A BALL. MY RIDER GOT THE SHAKES
MISSION COMPLETE....
Can't wait to do it again(how about next month Joyce??)

Should I kill another cyl. and run on four this time. Only had five of six on Sunday.

Again....I did not know you were there on Sunday. Have never seen you or your car, but everyone knows about my 'toy', the NAPA 15 Chevy.(maybe you were spellin' NAPA wrong)....LOL
