Yes, I'd convert to dirt. I was running mostly dirt when I started going to OSW.
Yes, I'd run Orlando. It is close, friendly and I like it alot.
I expect the expenses would be about the same, but I get by on the cheap anyway.
Orlando is going to be my home base, regardless of the surface.

The only way I race Orlando as a dirt track would be if they would adopt current UMP rules / payouts just like Volusia and Ocala have. I also think they would need to bring people in who are familiar with dirt to run the place and do proper track maintenance. I know that the cost would be lower if they choose the tire that was good for the racers and not for the track trying to put extra cash in their pocket. Overall I think it would be a interesting change of pace for the track.
