  • Sadness for Jack Smith...

Last night as Jack was working at Hendry, he received a call that his beloved mother passed away. Jack has been agonizing for weeks knowing she was ill and not expected to live long. Her will to live was so strong! She was in her 90s but no matter how lucky we are to have loved ones for so long, it is never easy to say goodbye. Part of your heart goes with them. So please keep Jack and his family in your prayers. Thank you...

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. We lost my husband's Grandfather last month and he was 92 years old. His Grandmother passed away July 2008 and just two weeks shy of turning 92.

I talked to Jack last night when I got home from Columbia. He knows how I feel and how sorry I am. My heart and my prayers are with him and all his family. You may think you are prepared to lose a parent because you are older but you never are. God bless Jack's whole family.

I too am very sorry for your loss Jack. Take comfort in knowing she led a long fruitful life and that you helped ease her transition from this world into the next one.
