  • Governor's Cup - Why Not Sunday?

I've attended three of the last four Gov. Cup events, and have been disappointed in the late start. When the sun goes down on November evenings, it does get cold and, if you came for qualifying, you've already been sitting in the stands for about five hours. As a fan of local, short-track racing, I clearly would prefer a Sunday afternoon running of the event, and I firmly believe that NSS's attendance for this event would increase substantially if the race were to be run in the sunshine. A 2:00 pm start time would be ideal, in my opinion. Does anybody agree with me?

    Where You Been Bucko?

That's been a hot discussion for the past week or so....

    Pro's / Con's regarding a Sunday Race... some want it, some don't.

But we will see if the track will even comment on the topic. Place your bets.
Thank a Police Officer for what they do........... OSF:

Remember form other posts in the past, the people at the track don't get on here and read the posts. Either email or call the track to let them know how you feel.

I agree. Big races should be run on Sunday afternoons. The Snowball Derby wouldn't have the same electricity if it were run at night. Plus, it's too dang cold at night. This should be an easy decision.

Now OSF, getting his panties in a wad about someone helping him read - now thats some funny doodoo there. We all know he can't read or write without help.

I have to admit I didn't see that STFU comin - it was stealthy.
