Benny , you're on the right track . But heres what is needed in Washington , and in your state , your county , your city . Limiting EVERY politician to only one term . And no one is allowed to run for a different office . Period . Then people aren't voting with re-election in mind . They aren't spending three quarters of their elected term campaining for another term instead of doing the job they were elected to . Lobbyists can't threaten to run someone out of office if they don't vote the way the lobby says . All elected officials will then be free to vote the way their constituents want , instead of being beholden to special interests . So instead of wasting hatred on a President you've never met ( how stupid is that ) start channeling the hatred for a black Democrat President into term limits . Thats where the debate should really be . And please turn your radios to MUSIC and your tvs OFF . Rush , and Neal , and Ann , and Bill , and Glen are playing you for ratings . Its their job to get you to tune in everyday , and they can't do that without being outrageous and over the top . Not truthfull , just controversial . Read a newspaper and use common sense .

JA14, I agree with you on the term limits. And it should be taken a step further. They shouldn't get their salaries for life after serving a term.

As far as the black president thing. It has nothing to do with his skin color. Why can't you libs understand this? It is his policies. That and that alone is it. If J.C. Watts was running for president I would vote for him in a heart beat. He is completely black and not half black like our pres. I would vote for him because he stands for what I believe in. Again it has nothing to do with skin color. I know you libs tend to be dense and or lazy and take the easy way out by calling people racist. But try and read what I am saying!

I just find it difficult to believe that anyone takes Rush , or any of the talking heads seriously . I have better education credentials than Rush , Neil , Ann , Glenn , Sean , pretty much the same as Lou , and i'm sure many of the people on this board do too . So why they have radio and tv shows is a mystery to me . Not one of them has any more real insight into world affairs than my , or your , next door neighbor . And yes , Rush and the rest get ALL of their info from newspapers and the net . They don't have reporters , they don't send their own people out into the field to get info . They read the same things you can , SO WHAT DO YOU NEED THEM FOR ? Go directly to the congressional web site to read legislation . Its right there and you don't have to take anyones word for it . Go to fact check and find out for yourself if something is true . Why rely on entertainers to give you info that impacts your life . Do a little work yourself , otherwise you deserve to be fooled .Again , they are entertainers , not reporters . Leftists scared of Rush ?? Theres nothing scarry about Rush , hes a comedian . So are the others . Just like John Stewart and Steven Colbert .
If anyone really thinks the debate over Obama isn't about an uppity black man becoming President , kindly click on the comedians corner of this board , read everything going back about 6 months . Sadly , this country still has a ways to go in race relations . His race is the only thing the debate is really about .
