I still liked the other board better

Darn, I find this board frustrating at times. Particularly when I read a thread and see there are more messages posted below a certain level. Sometimes I catch them and other times I see I've missed something for a few days. It seems to work much better if I don't log in. It's also more difficult for me to post, probably because of my age and senility. Sure it has lots of smilies and you can post an avatar but does that help get the message across. I find them distracting.
Sorry, just had to vent after spending 20 extra minutes on the board. 10 minutes to figure it out and then another 10 minutes because I forgot. : Now I'll go to bed.

I have had all kinds of trouble with this new board. I keep getting little mini-freezeups that drops letters, spaces and entire words. I have to edit almost every single sentence to correct things. It get's VERY frustrating, and only happens on this board. No others and not on the old format either.

Just for an example, the following will be un-edited:

I realize my computer isn't exactlytate of the art, but it get old having to go back and edit everything I tpe. Maybe itsthe flashing smileys or he adverising windows flashing around, but thisis te only site I hve tis kind of trouble n.

I need 14 corrections in that 1 paragraph alone.

Jerry... this board wasn't intended to work on a Comadore 64... you really need Windows 98 or better!

that's strange. i don't have any of those keying issues. not on Karnac nor on any other website that uses this BBS format.

I'm on Windows XP... and don't have ANY kind of issues other than here.

I just don't understand.... never a problem on Karnac, and still not a problem aywere else. Why just this ONE place?

Frass, Maybe I can help you during the week. I don't have those problems either. There actually are alot of custom view options for this board too.

But, I had heard you actually had a Vic-20.

The cool thing is when I get booted from the board, I can play Pong until they let me back in.

So far after registering my hard part was getting past the email address they sent me. But now at I'm on it's worked ok. I still don't like the floor mat. But put up with it. Maybe it's because of the amount of post you have so far? Geeez slow down man.

Only problem I have with this board is occasionally I see a blank screen after posting, instead of my post.

Mark and Matt, don't knock my Comadore 64 or my Atari. Thats where I got my start. Bob........
