  • Citrus Sat Nite

I went to citrus the last 2 sat nights (I'm back home in NC now) but, they still have good carcount and bang for the buck.
I just wanted to say this past sat i saw the SECKS? carts? Interesting and entertaining.
I also saw mini cup cars and bass master series something who's shows also weren't bad either.
the regular divisions were entertaining as expected......economy didn't look too bad in Inverness.
Normalcy is a myth. what is perfectly normal for the Cheetah, Becomes absolute chaos for the Antelope.

Wish I'd known you were there Benny. I would have made it a point to meet.
Citrus tried something new last week. They now have a spin rule that basically says that whoever spins, and brings out a caution, goes to the back of the pack. Doesn't matter who's fault it is. There are no spotters making judgment calls. The flagman has the final say and will black flag anyone he thinks is driving rough. I thought it worked very well last week. There were several drivers that tried spinning the car ahead of them out and almost all of them ended up spinning out themselves. If they had concentrated on racing and passing they would have been much further ahead. It may take a few weeks for this to sort itself out but I think this is the way to go. The show went much faster because there was no arguing over who was at fault and everyone involved went to the back. There were a few incidents that were questionable and there will probably be paybacks. However, I think that is fewer than when they had the spotters. Stay tuned or visit to catch the excitement.

      Glad you were entertained

Glad to hear you enjoyed the SECKS kart race. So many people are turned off thinking these are "Celebration Station" type karts and don't realize the speed they attain. Throw in the draft factor and you have a very good 20-25 lap race. Thanks for watching and posting.
