Good to see the winner actually have to pass someone to win... Schatz started sixth and won his FOURTH STRAIGHT nationals... Here is a guy who drove his butt off in so-so equipment for a few years and got himself noticed... The rest is history... Years ago the accomplishments of Schatz would have easily earned him a ride at Indy... Unfortunately now his name would have to be Yamamoto and he'd need a suitcase full of money...
Those cars fly at Knoxville... Stir up a bit of wind too.. Actually had a caution flag on Friday because a billboard came loose from the vibration and wind and fell on the track!Comment

i became a fan after i saw him race speedweeks at Vsp. Started dead last and won passing high and low and not touching a single other car.Comment
