I did turn it off long enough to read that crap... things were good for a week or two and here we go again... "You Know Who" is just starting a thread to START CRAP...

IGNORE BUTTON BACK ON.... don't need that CRAP....I leave it for other small minded people.

Jack doesn't believe in censorship.... and neither do I..... post what you want... enjoy the board... Jack wants the hits... that's what brings in more ads etc.

Look at all my post... I never called "You know who" an A-hole or nothing of the sort... I did call "You Know Who" "Mother Superior" and "Stepmother" but never a cuss word...while looking at my post... let me know if you find any that I submitted making fun of President OBMAMAMAMAM... HOWEVER, I have a news flash here... WE LIVE IN AMERICA... and dammmit.. we have free speach.. and don't have to pay any attention to "YOU KNOW WHO"... she is just trying to start more crap...cause it was quiet for a week or two..claims that "SHE" wants to get the board back...from where/who... things have been just fine for the past week or two....

HELL, I never even told "YOU KNOW WHO" to STFU... someone else beat me to it... although I have heard many many people state that they wish "YOU KNOW WHO" would in fact STFU and get a life... (That many people at that many tracks could NOT all be wrong).

When this board goes to nothing BUT RACIN... the board will be gone!...
WING WING (or what ever his name is)...was 100% correct when he recalled all the post started by "YOU KNOW WHO" that were NON RACE RELATED... funny how easily one can speak out of both sides of their mouths when they want..

Someone mentioning the fact they were in the service and served this country is not a negative... its a POSITIVE... alot more positive than a long winded story about all the hard work done on radio shows, doing this and doing that....a bunch of SELF SERVING crap that doesn't hold water... People that do stuff for others and don't mention it themselves are the real contributors to others... not the ones that are slapping themselves on the back and saying "HEY LOOK AT ME - I DID THIS AND I DID THAT", " I TRAVELED ALL OVER FLORIDA - YAK YAK YAK"

Oh, by the way... I also served this country...and thats a POSITIVE and nothing to do with SELF SERVING..(Same as OCALA76 was talking about), He wasn't looking for sorrow or a hand out... or anything like that...I just about puke every time I see someone writing about how much they do for racing... they ought to shut the hell up and do it... if its appreciated... OTHERS will talk about it... but NOT the one that did it.... Some people really NEED to get a life.
EVERY ONE SHOULD USE THE IGNORE BUTTON AS WAS SUGGESTED TO MY FROM "YOU KNOW WHO"... LIFE SURE IS GOOD WHEN IGNORE BUTTON IS IN USE.

OSF , i couldn't agree more with your assessment of you know who . You're also correct about this board drying up if racing is the only topic allowed or encouraged . I do wish there was a lot more race discussion here , racing of all types , but you all do pretty good . If you have me on ignore then i just wasted this response .

I'm going to be honest and give my take on things.

First of all, these message boards are a good resourse for getting info and distributing it. They are also a great place for general banter between friends about racing or anything else. All of us might not agree with everything that is posted here, but this is the USA, right?

That said, there are two options. You can delete your link to this board and go elsewhere if you do not like it here. In a way we are like family in that we all may not always like each other, and yet we tolerate each other for the common good of the group. Those that can't should probably find the door.

I choose to ignore what I don't like and pay attention to what interests me. I don't need a button to push or an option to choose. I can ignore all by myself with the click of a mouse, and I do all of the time. For example, I am a registered Democrat and I don't agree with the BS that some of you ought to be ashamed of posting, but I don't say a word. Not here, and not to your faces. The reason I don't is that you have the right to your opinion and to express it, and I have the right to mine. As long as you respect mine then I will respect yours, and you right to express it. I also have the right to ignore you, and that's what I do.

If someone wants to go off on silly rants about this and that, then let them. If someone wants to promote their track or series with obnoxious postings, then let them. If someone wants to be nothing but a general snert and cause problems, then let them. I have the power to ignore, and I'll damned well use it!

The thing is that although we have the right to say what we want to, we also have to remember that it is ok to ignore what we do not wish to see. If you really want to know what is wrong with society and everything else today, it is that we have become the nation of the offended. We take offense at every little word that we do not agree with, and we make a huge deal out of it. Political correctness is born out of this attitude, and will always be here as long as we cannot regrow our lost backbones and learn to ignore what we do not wish to see.

We do not have to agree in order to be friends and to function as a community!
