What a fun night! For a last minute thing, this night went great. I don't know how many of us were there, but it was a high quality crowd that came for fun. It looks like everyone liked it.

The only problem came after the world championship round. The observers are certain that the win should have gone to Michael Seay, but the track awarded it to, get this, Jerry "Frasson 118" Binner! The title is in dispute pending outcome of the litigation. I expect this one to go all the way to the Supreme Court.

From memory, here were our racers:
    Announcer Dave Westerman
    Duane the FLraceguy
    Roger AB195
    Boneman and son Michael
Brian Finney and a large posse
    Michael Seay
    Jerry "Frasson 118" Binner
    Tim Walters
    Matt Brown
a few others whom I don't know by name.

As always I had a great time... i do believe that tech was fixed as our complaints about Jerry fixing the race fell on deaf ears... one thing, Jerry and Roger are bad influences... but they are great folks so....

Sorry I missed this one Rex but just don't have extra money right now to go. Instead I spent it on school supplies for Volusia tonight. I figured even when you are down and out, you still need to try and do something for someone else and you can be surprised what you can get for $10.00. But glad you all had such a great time, maybe next time we can make it.

After a review of the transponder records, and an official recounting of all the score sheets, I did forfeit my Championship ticket to Michael. I thought I had all you clowns covered, by I honestly don't recall passing Michael. Hell, I think he started on the pole, while I started 11th, so I don't feel too bad coming in 2nd!

What a great group of guys though... time and money well spent. I haven't missed one of these yet, and sure don't plan on missing any in the future.

A HUGE Thanks again must go to Boneman, who puts these things together. Where else can an average racefan run wheel to wheel with guys who run Mini's, Strictly Stocks, Legends and even Super Late Models?

I knew many of these guys, but it was great meeting some new ones also... Tim Walters, Brian Finney and Matt Brown come to mind. Sorry if I missed any of the "rookies" at this years event.

I didn't realize until after the post-race celebrations that it was after 2:30 AM. Didn't even make last call at the local watering hole.
