Want to learn a little about Dennis Misuraca?

You may remember Dennis Misuraca from late model racing out at OSW, or perhaps you know him from his sprint car exploits. No matter, Dennis was gracious enough to do our little 10 Questions game at our website down in my signature.

How can you not like a guy that told his wife he was going fishing so he could sneak out and buy a sprint car?

I don't know

if that is a local newspaper clipping or a racing paper. But how many of us can remember when you could see the results of local Sat night racing in your local paper every week. When I was in the army, my wife would send the weekly newspaper clipping to me. Esp. in FL what local paper cares?

The story about sneaking out to buy a Sprint car doesn't surprise me... like Father, like Son:

When Dennis and his father Tom (?) first came to Central Fla, I had the chance to meet Tom, and asked him how a guy fresh out of NY State wound up with a Mini-Sprint car. He answered (something to the effect of), that he was going through a divorce, and his wife had cleaned out almost everything, and was after his Corvette. BUT, he knew she had no interest in taking a racecar from him. So, he made an exchange with a friend with a racecar, so that he got to keep something out of the deal....! That's how he and his son wound up in racing.
