So.......Yoho finished!! They did have a number of re-starts, which was double file and maybe most drivers aren't use to that! Sure dices up things...and it was a very hot night...think tempers are a little worse..racing is like dancing...when you are not use to your partner...you are likely to step on their toes! Think when you race with someone alot you learn also who to trust and whom not to! Anyway, we thought it was action packed and glad we could go to a track in our own back yard and enjoy seeing all these guys!

Fontaine did good,ran up front, had trouble ,fell back,then got back to 3rd place . Joe Boyd passed a lot of cars too.

Thanks N. Rowe, good to hear/see from you again, you Raceway/ Historian you. And yes you are, and your hubby. What a breath of fresh air it is to see your post. Desoto Speedway looks like their doing quite well, with a field like that, and it's nice to see. Next bigggie, I'm so there.

I was nowhere near Desoto, but to answer the age-old question, "what happened to Fain?" I'll go out on a limb here and say he wrecked.

That's a nice field of cars there - nice to see Perry Brown out there again.

i am assuming that too but wondered what happened. i was also a little surprised to see his name (Fain Skinner)on the desoto results. i may be wrong but i dont think hes raced there in a long long time... hope he is ok...
please also tell me who "Richard" is and why the sorrow? i havent been on for awhile. whoever he is i surely hope he gets better.

Just received an email and learned that Richard is your husband and the reason people are so concerned about him. Please forgive me as I dont know either of you "personally" and i didnt know who the Richard was they were talking about.. I am so sorry to hear of your husbands illness and I will surely keep him in my prayers. God bless both of you ... racing is special because of people like you ! The world is a better place...
