    I spend very little time on You Tube , so i've missed the scintillating Glen Beck posts . But i do have a couple of faves that i will pass along . These are auto racing oriented , neither Democrat or Republican as far as i can tell , and i just like the technology involved . I can't give you actual sites on You Tube , just use the following words to search . These are older You Tube posts , but i enjoy them .

    1. Renault F1 Engine - this is a dyno test of a V8 Renault engine at 19,000 rpm on a computerized dyno , the engine does exact duplicates of race laps including shifting . I think this lap might be Monaco
    2. Renault F1 God Save The Queen - this is a V10 Renault race engine hooked to a lap top computer . By controlling the engine from the lap top , it will play songs
    3. BMW E36 Scary - This is a five lap or so race where a very fast and very talented driver starts last and works through traffic .
    As i said , these aren't new , many people have probably already seen them , but if not , check them out . Ed , you and Rex are welcome to watch them too .

    I left one out .

    In the search box at You Tube type in;

    Judd V8 10,000 rpm - its a German hillclimb video of a Judd V8 powered BMW . In my humble opinion , its a great engine sound

        it doesn't seem hardly like a European rally at all without people standing all over the track.

            some typical European Rally action: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g8lrmQP3NeU

            you wonder why the Spanish run with the bulls? it's safer than what the rest of the continent is doing. that's right, the Spaniards are the nancy-boys of Europe.

              Those rally close calls are crazy! My favorite is the old guy who is nearly clipped, pushes the car off and keeps on walking across the corner.

                To be fair, lets throw some American short track late model sound in there.

                    That BMW session is crazy as well - every car he came up to was a sitting duck. Didn't put to many wheels in the dirt either for the amount of traffic he was dealing with.

                      Naa. It is a "pro" late model though, which is the same thing as what I have. I have a few videos posted up on youtube, but none that really capture the awesome sound of the roaring V-8 like the video I listed.

                        it's not unusual in road course racing to run two or three or more classes of cars together at the same time and that's what that looks like. like a top tier car had to start at the back of the field for some reason. it isn't til the end of the video that he starts catching and passing cars that look like they might be back of the pack for his class.

                        see why i want full field inverts so bad?

                            I'm not exactly sure why the BMW started at the rear , but he sure didn't stay there long .
                            I couldn't agree more on the idea of total inverts for all races . Its been discussed numerous times on numerous threads on this board , the majority agree , yet nothing happens .

                              from the web site, 13hp rear mounted Honda engines. so, ya, big go-karts. basically Mini-Cup cars.
