Good night of racing. 5 mod mini's, 5 bombers, 8 Magic 4's, and 3 street stocks took the green flag. Highest backbone class was Flyin 4's with 12 cars, a quarter of which came because CCMP rained out. Late models were good, but they have been up everywhere it seems lately. Looks like not many drivers are willing to deal with the king anymore and he has burned most of his bridges.

Brian , do you really think that antagonizing people is a good way to build the car and fan count at Desoto ? I know you're trying to promote the track and the mini stock racing , but your personality doesn't lend itself to race promotion . John runs enough people of , he doesn't need your help . Things are bad enough around here as it is .

Yeah seriously, myself and countless others will forever be done with Desoto as long as John owns it. Sorry Brian, that's just the reality of it. I have no beef with you man, but people just feel that strongly about the King. I don't know who hasn't paid you in the past, but John has precious few drivers left and has to do everything he can to keep them. Bottom line, the guy wants out of it, and everyone knows it, but he wants way too much money and nobody is that stupid. He thought with the building boom, he was going to sell for a big profit right about now and sail off into the sunset very wealthy. Ooops, the bottom fell out and he held on too long and he can't accept the huge payday he thought was coming simply isn't anymore. The place doesn't even exist to me anymore and it's a shame. If Citrus or CCMP were closer, he have no cars. This is just the universe paying him back for ruining the best track in the state.
