Of course, sounds like we have something in common. I am Nate certified and very familiar with manual J and D. I was Nbi certified until it expired this past year. I made a career change a couple of years ago though.

I was a State Cert. A/C contractor for 32 years after the Army. License is inactive for 3 years now, but can reactivate at any time. I'm retarded now, because I drive a race car.......LOL
Next time we meet we will have to compare 'notes'.

I e-mailed the guy wanting to know some additional information for the new speedway and this is what I got in return. I look forward to it and hopefully its something that will work out.

Hey Ed,
Yes the rumors are true we are opening Treasure Coast Motorsports Park which will include Fellsmere Speedway a 5/8 mile oval. We do have a facility for it. Our plan is in phases and Mud Bog Mania, our first phase opens Oct, 10th 2009. Once it is up and operational we will begin construction on the state of the art Fellsmere Speedway and soon after that will be Sebastion Dragway any all concrete NHRA quarter mile.

We are planning a Wed night practice sessions along with a Friday and Saturday night race schedule. Along with that we will have special events and races on schedule. Currently the time line is mid 2010 for Fellsmere Speedways Grand Opening!!!

5/8th's is too big if they plan on running weekly/bi-weekly shows. that size of track is a horsepower type track. 3/8th's or 4/10th's is more realistic. Evev a 1/3rd like Speedworld. P.S. I already have A/C in my shop. It's a beautiful thing (except for the power bill).
