The guy built an empire and in the process was extremely giving of his time and money to charitable causes. Alot has been made here lately about giving, taxing and other debatable issues, what isn't debatable is the affect someone like him can have on a huge variety of people.

That's a shame, he was a really nice guy. I had the pleasure of doing some charity work with him about ten years ago when I lived in Daytona.
I've seen that exact type of accident happen first hand, it's not pretty. Trying to pull that off is never a wise decision.

We lose another great person...
I only got to meet him once but it was at the 2007 National Philanthropy Day awards banquet where he was receiving an award for his generous giving. He will be missed by a lot of people whose lives he touched.
I posted a few of the photos from that day.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.
