Went to 600 Racing yesterday and met with Mr. Ragan, and an Everingham Development Driver. They talked about Josh William's test in Monday Nights' HUMPY WHEELER / DAVID RAGAN Driver program. They were in Dirt Late Models. He was second fastest with NO EXPERIENCE. They said, "WOW, that's an Up and Coming Driver and his future is bright"!!!! Everyone is excited about coming to our January 29 thru 31 OPEN WHEEL MADNESS Weekend for the first leg of the Pre Speedweeks MELT DOWN of the SOUTH. We hope to have the Checkered Flag Sprints, USAC Midget, National TQ Midgets, 600 Legends and Bando's, and last but not least the Q-Auto & Injury Open Wheel Modifieds. This will be "the place to be" before Speedweeks. Three nights of open wheels racin' (except for the Bando's).
Last night, the Legends Summer Shoot Out had over 150 + cars. Man, were they good. I sat and talked with one of my heroes: the driver of the #23, John Deere Tractor NASCAR, Chad Little. His boy is in the Bando's. They are hoping to come down and get in some fishing while they are here for three days of MADNESS.
They even had about 1500 in the stands at Lowes, but in that place it looked empty. I haven't been the Charlotte Motor Speedway since 1983. It was in a Mazda RX7 GTU in the Kelly Girls Series Camaro of IMSA. Things have changed. The only thing the same was the banking. If you never raced, go to their driving school. You'll love the banking.
Well AJ14, I am done talking about me but I need all the help I can get selling tickets. So jump on here with your wisdom about how to do it. And pound those keys!!!!!
