Update on mom

Mom has been in the hospital since Friday. Still not sure what is wrong but my brother flew in from California late last night to help. Between the two of us, we should be able to take care of both of them. Hopefully she will be home by Saturday since that is their 61st wedding anniversary. Just hope they figure this out soon.

Thanks for understanding. This is not easy on me but my parents have to come first right now and everything else second. Someone told me today "do you realize how lucky you are" in that you still have both your parents and that they have always been married to each other and no divorce. Yes, I do know how lucky I am and I am thankful all the time.

Thank you. Just got a call from the hospital that no one in the hospital is qualified or allowed to do this one test mom has to have so we are going to have to take her out of Wuesthoff and move her to Cape Canaveral to another doctor except her primary care doctor is not allowed to practice at Cape Canaveral. So I am not sure what we do there. But the doctor who scheduled this test just came in and told her he could not do this test (she is asleep and it helps find the blockage causing her so much pain) although they have been getting her ready for it since early this morning.

Now, someone please tell me, what good is health care if you can't get what you need at the hospital you are at at the moment.

Jane I am sorry to hear about your mom. I pray she gets the treatment she needs soon. I hate to say it but when and if OBAMMA gets his health care reform in place its going to get worse. We'll lift her up in prayer. Bob...
