Mini Cups at Auburndale, take 2

I stayed out of the first exchange, but last night... well, I need to know who thought it was a good idea to stop the program after the heat races, bring all the Mini Cup cars to the infield, give them FOUR laps -- yes, like the Indy 500 -- and THEN have a 20-minute intermission. Had to restrain my wife from leaping over the top of the guardrail.

Listen, I'm willing to tolerate the races -- but Mini Cups, Legends and Dwarf Cars are a lot of lawnmowers in one program -- but can we agree that it's a terrible idea to stop a program midway through for qualifying, and that it is NEVER a good idea to qualify cars that have centrifugal clutches during an actual race program? We had a long drive home, and would have liked to stayed for more features (of course, we had to wait for the Mini Cup feature to get to the modifieds).

Auburndale has done a lot of good things this past year, but this was just...sad.

the reason was for safty the track was to unsafe for the mini cups to run frist so they put them in the middle of they show so stop crying and race or stay home .

So, I wasn't at Auburndale Sat. night, however, I don't think they have someone to take oldyeller's place. Why is it that the mini cups get paid $50 a car that the scofields bring in. But the dwarfs, bandoleros, legends don"t get paid at auburndale?

well they would probally deny doing that. but a scofield himself told a buddy of mine they do. just not fair to the other 3 classes that bring their cars as well to put on a show also.

Phanton, I usually don't get on here and reply to all the message's, but the one about payouts that you posted is wrong. I do the payout each Saturday Night, the Legends, Mini Cups and Dwarfs do get paid, the only ones that don't is the Bandeleros, ( which is the way it was set up by their series). so like others say on here if you don't know the truth, don't post.
