The Blast From The Past

Ok everyone here is what I have so far...
There are 44 Drivers Committed at this time and more coming .
The event is a run what you brung race,any car any class of cars..
There will be practice on Saturday and Sunday morning for all drivers.
Camping at the race track ... Campers ,motorhomes ,tents what ever you want to use.
There will be a Bar B-Que and Events all day long. There will be music and games ,story telling and lots of fun and plenty activities to bring back memories of the past.
Come out and join us for the greatest event this year.
Pits open 8:00 a.m.
Grandstands open 1:00 P.M.
Grantstand Admission is $10.00
All Drivers are free.....

Great job Joyce.
We are making plans now to bring up the NAPA 15 Chevy, my 'toy', to help out. This is a great cause as well and maybe we can do some ride-a-longs in the car for you. See you there Sunday the 30th.

PS we are racing Bronson the evening before and taking both cars up there. Tony has agreed for us to leave the sportsman there overnight so we can head straight to Lake City after the races.
Tony is doin' a great job at Bronson and is VERY racer friendly.

I see you have Gordon Lee listed from our recent conversations that I would be contacting him so I just wanted you to know that indeed he has confirmed that he will be there.

He is out of town the week prior and not returning until the Saturday before the 30th however he said he will make Sunday’s event and appreciated being invited.

For those that might not be too familiar with Gordon he has a rich history of racing at Sunshine Speedway and GG Speedway from the jalopy days through Late Models. He started at Sunshine in their opening year in 1959 and raced thru 1982.

Most that are familiar with him are also familiar with his trademark colors of Blue & White on his Fords as well as his number and self-sponsored 123 GE Lee Electric on the side.

Mr.& MRS, KESSLER ARE ON A ROAD TRIP RIGHT NOW HOPEFULLY THEY WILL BE BACK IN TIME FOR THE RACE .I TALKED TO THERE SON AND HE SAID THEY MIGHT BE BACK.

we are gonna have to get jim fenton to

sneak over to some of them guys car like kessler and his car and some of other ones and pull a spark plug wire off or cross one of wires

some of them guys are gonna be faster than you think , and if i can get hardy madox to come i guarntee he will still be fast

I found Kessler he is on his motorcycle touring the US,sounds like he and jeannie are having fun.Found somemore drivers that you guys might know I will post them a little later.also listen to night to florida short track report.They are going to talk with us about the blast from the past race ,I think you can call in if you want to with any questions.I will try to have the answers for everyone.
