I tried signing on another browser today and its not doing that. The spelling, I was trying to type as fast as I could and save it. I made mistakes and couldn't correct it. I guess some little virus has gotten into my computer on the Internet Explorer. I am signed in to Firefox now. Thanks Bob...

Bob, what kind of anti-virus do you have installed? I was having some issues with mine recently and my computer Guru told me about F-secure instead of Norton. They have a thirty day trial, so what the hell, and it went in and found viruses that Norton did'nt catch. Just a thought. Good luck.Randy Alldredge

I have a anti-virus called Avast. My computer Guru says that is the best for now. I had AVG for a couple years and it started letting some stuff in. I also have something she installed called CC cleaner and ad-aware and another called cleanup. They all seem to work good. I had a bug last year that she had a time getting rid of. I had 1 that took over my e-mail and sent an add to every body in my address book. That was fun. All those above are free downloads. My Guru is big on free and I can go along with that. Try to sign on another Browser and see what it does. Bob...

I have used AVG for several years and never had anything get through. The biggest spread of viruses is e-mail, especially chain letters. Never open a letter that looks the least bit strange and if you do never click on a link in one. Also it is always good to sit your avg or any other virus scan you have to update as soon as you turn on your system.
Link to FREE AVG Anti-Virus.
Hope this helps.

Disclaimer, I don't really know much about computers.
However, this sounds like it may be an Internet Explorer issue with an ad that may be on Karnac. I use Firefox and haven't had an issue. However, I do notice there is an ad at the top of the page quite often that isn't loading. That's not a problem with me. However, maybe IE is handling it differently than Firefox. Just a thought. I also agree with Rick. I've used AVG for a few years and had only one virus supposedly slip through. I'm still not sure it did as I had no problem. It may have been a false positive. I used Avast at one time and had very good results with that. As Rick said, update as soon as you turn on the computer and at least once a day.
BTW Bob, I remember your email virus and, if it makes you feel any better, I just received one from a user of Yahoo.com recently. So Hotmail doesn't have exclusive rights to that virus. My photo site: http://www.rewingphotos.com

Bob,
Didn't your mommy ever tell you that besides running the risk of going blind, when you visit those 'other' sites you also run the risk of getting serious critters into your computer??
