I have a friend that lives in Naples that is building a vintage racecar. Do any of you know of some websites or organizations that would be benificial to him?

Theres a magazine called Vintage Racing , most Barnes and Nobles have it . It covers vintage race cars from F1 to stock cars and everything in between .
Its expensive ( i recall about $9.00 ) but there is nothing as good for photos and articles .

There is also a group that posts on here a lot called V8 Stock Car Series . They restore and race older stock cars and road race cars . Try to google them for info .

Vintage Oval Racing is the magazine that covers Vintage Oval Racing, see:http://www.vintageovalracing.com/

Victory Lane Magazine is published by the same publishers and covers all other forms of vintage racing. See: http://www.victorylane.com/

V8 Stockcars that post info here are completely different and they are racing modern cars, see: http://www.v8stockcar.com/

If your friend has a vintage stock car, midget, or sprint (or any old oval track car), the best link for him since he lives in Florida is the DAARA link, see: http://www.daararacing.com/

If your friend has a vintage road race car, the best links for him are:

          http://www.svra.com/
          http://www.hsrrace.com/
