      As I Remember

Back in High School(yes I went......part time) I worked at my Uncla Bill's tire store in Miami. He had two rules on tire mounting.

On two piece rims we had a thick strap around the tire and rim before airing it.
On regular tires, if that sucker has not 'popped' by 40 lbs......STOP.
Break down and relube the bead with soapy water.
We mounted hundreds of tires a day without any problems. The ins. co ask him why others had problems and he did not. He told them his two rules and they adopted the two piece rim rule in their policies.

In the motor pool in the Army I saw a guy cut in half by a two piece rim.
DOD banned them on their trucks after a few of those accidents.

As for me, I'm more scared of fire on the track and how fast the emergency crew gets there. I have fire supression in my car, but will I be alert enough to use it?? Any thoughts on this or should it be a whole new subject??

The next time you start choking on a Zuber dog, I'm taking your beer away from youse. I wish your 'big butt' could fit in my ride-along car. I would have the EMTs standing by with the de-fibulator and a hamburger.......LOL

              Hell OCALAJIMJIM

I down those Zubers in one bite... and you touch my beer, FIGHT ON... that would be like tryin to git a beer outa Jerry's hand... ain't gonna happen.

AND...I would git in your ride-a-long even if you had a couch in the back seat. Not my fault you don't have a man size seat in the right front!

You and 10 others couldn't get me to climb into that thing with you at the helm...hell, you scare me when you are driving the motorhome.

HEY... all kidding aside (and that doesn't happen ofter).. I hope the hell you never have the opportunity to use that suppression system...but I am glad to hear you have it and don't let anyone know I got easy on ya..Cause you know I have a reputation to keep up (wish it was the only thing I was tryin to keep up).

Now, back to the REAL OSF!

Don't worry, your reputation is intact on dis here boad.
The ride-a-along seat is big, it's the window you have to get through to ride.

Hope to see you soon my friend.
