It poured like a mjonsoon and the infield was flooded so the ASA race was moved to October 3rd. Not good news for them. Patrick Staripoli heads back to Harvard ... oh and BTW... he aced his first year at Harvard with all A's and one A-.... wow... thats pretty darned good.
Dustin Dunns dad andrew very ill and may have to go to the hospital. i think they said he had heat stroke. they brought 2 really nice bikes to raffle. ;-(
Drew Brannon was there!!!! so good to see him. he is headed to NC.....
i have pics but have to make them smaller and will try to post them tomorrow.
Joe Winchell and Lori were there i think with Drew. and a son i wish was mine... Casey Caudill... love you sweetie!!!!!
Shelly and Scot Walters were there with their gorgeous 5 week old Karsyn... she sure is pretty... her little hands smaller than a quarter.
Billy and Kim Bigley were there with their boys...Kim made me a photo of me, hailey, and bobby and framed it. it is so nice. i didnt have one of me with the kids because i always take pics. i treasure this gift from such a good friend... ;-)
I didnt get to see anyone else because it was really muddy and messy.... but happy to see the ones i did! VERY happy. I just felt so bad. they all bought a set of tires that will not be any good by October so then they will have to buy another set. gets really expensive when you plan to race and it rains....
well thats it for tonight. ordering pizza and gonna watch "The Gremlins" with the kids. maybe go for a moonlight swim if we dont have to fight off mosquitoes. Be safe and have a fun weekend!

Carol,

I am out of the hospital and feeling much better. I guess I just over worked myself, again. We lost the clutch with two minutes left in practice so I only had thirty minutes to pull the driveshaft, trany, bell housing, and clutch, rebuild the clutch, put it back together and have the car back in line. I got the job done but that was the end of my day. They just kept me in for one day with IV's am I am good to go. You can't keep a good man down.

I will keep the two bikes for the next ASA race at CCMP. We had several kid come by our pits to see the bikes and they were very excited about the giveaway.

the only thing im really concerned with is that you are ok... thank God...racing comes AFTER family and health... dustin is one very lucky kid to have you for his dad...BTW... he looks soooooo handsome.. must be that pretty little girl hanging on his arm huh? he looks so trim and healthy! i really did miss the cowboy hat tho... ;-) was also good to see Gram...she is so caring and loving... now you take good care of yourself and dont push so hard in this heat...sorry i missed you but happy to know you are ok...
