i know what taz means but whatever you do...DO NOT EVER GIVE UP !!!! racing needs enthusiastic people like you! you will not please everyone but you will please alot! so make a choice... if i paid attention to the insults over the years i would have given up a long time ago....
i kinda dont mind the caps because they are easier to see. i do understand that some people look at caps as offensive... lol i think its silly... some of the words are offensive but they dont seem to care about that as long as its written in the proper font...
this is all so trivial.. DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO TO GET PEOPLE TO YOUR TRACK !!!!!

I agree you can't please everyone so don't try. It is easier for me to read in normal sized print that isn't all capitals. I know that all caps is suppose to be considered "yelling" on the internet. It doesn't bother me. As a matter of fact, you might want to yell about some event coming up. I suggest maybe a large headline and caps, if you want. But make the body of the post normal sized. It's just easier for me to read and I can't imagine I'm alone in this regard. I was just trying to offer some advice not an insult. Sorry Carol thinks otherwise.

i sure didnt mean to hurt you. you are special to me. you and your son...but this constant negativity when people are trying so hard to promote racing, and in particular, their own tracks...it isnt right to criticise them so much.
Joyce is kinda new doing this... she is excited and i hate the thought that she might lose that enthusiasm. thats why so many people have left this board. it actually hurts when the insults come when all you are doing is trying to help... so winger.... lately you have been doing that and it is so out of character for you. i hope everythings ok in your life and i hope you understand my post...

And I think it was just between him and the lady from Columbia who is trying her best to get people to her track (no doubt about that).
WINGER, I am with you,... and I'm not into that yelling crap..(if that is what it's suppose to be)...it's just not necessary to put a whole message in caps. After a time or two of that, I just pass the threads that do it day after day.
Not trying to put my nose into other peoples business, but since it already got started... why not!

Just got home from a long night at the track and checked the board. Thank you OSF for the support. You are absolutely correct in you assumptions. Tccaz, I didn't take your post wrong. I even agree. I probably should have sent Joyce a PM with my thoughts but, at the time, I never thought of it. I tried wording it so no one would misunderstand. Carol, I don't know what you are talking about when you say I'm posting negative stuff. I try not to and don't think I have much. Maybe on occasion, but this post was not meant to be negative, just some helpful advice. However, you have got me going a little bit. I'm glad I'm special to you. That said, I only wish you would recognize me when we meet. I'm glad my son is also. But he's 1400 miles from here and hasn't been to Florida in a couple of years. Have you been seeing him on the side? Maybe you are confusing me with someone else. Maybe the same thing is happening when you read negativity in my posts. I don't know. The response above is the main reason why good racin fans are leaving this site and going elsewhere. For some reason, Carol has to approve or disapprove on every thread that has a difference of opinion. Im sure Winger enjoyed being lectured and the thought that maybe something is going on in his life that is causing him to come to this site and make negative comments, COME ON, this is starting to be a big joke. I hope you stay on Winger as there are fewer and fewer actual race fans on here.

North Florida Joyce, I just wanted you to know that your tracks advertisement with the Jax Bargain Channel is going well. I listened to it the other day and they really promote the track. I have always wondered why more of North Florida tracks havent used the Jax Bargain Channel. Keep up the good work on trying to promote the track.
