  • Voulsia Speedway Park Webcasting Continues This Week

Volusia Speedway Park and TV Showcaster will once again be presenting a live webcast of the racing events this Saturday night, July 11.
All six of Volusia Speedway Park's regular racing classes will be featured
this week including the Late Models, Sportsman, Modifieds, Street Stocks, Four Cylinder Challengers and Thunder Stocks. The webcast begins at 7 PM EDST.
The webcast of the Scott Thompson Memorial two weeks ago was viewed by persons from as far away as the Province of Manitoba in Canada, Texas, North Carolina and all parts of Florida. Each webcast brings fans the complete
evening of racing, uninterrupted, from the first green flag to the final
checkered flag - just as if you are actually at the race track.
To view the webcast, simply go to www.tvshowcaster.com. Click on the
Live Webcast button. Once you've registered and paid the $5.00 pay-per-view fee, just sit back and enjoy a night of great racing from Florida's premier dirt track, Volusia Speedway Park.
A reminder for viewers who have already enjoyed one of our previous
webcasts through www.tvshowcaster.com. You must re-register and pay the
$5.00 pay per view fee each week to view the new webcast. Each webcast is a separate entity, however cost is being kept at a minimum so that everyone has a chance to sit back and watch some awesome racing from Volusia Speedway Park.

Dana... Right now TV Showcaster/Post FX is actually losing money on everything we do there... well, we have broke even a couple of times... But we went into this thing knowing that it would take time to build it up... The DVD sales are pretty much a waste of time, but we continue doing it because a few of the drivers/teams/families enjoy them and buy them each week... Mostly, the racers don't really seem to care about what's offered no matter how good the quality is... We understand that times are tough and that's why we sell our DVD for $10, while other tracks/videographers sell them from $20-$35... Still, we're lucky to sell 8-10 a night... It took awhile to get our webcast site up and running the way we wanted it, but it is now rockin' and rollin' and this will be our "bread and butter" so to speak... For guys like you who live in a "dry" area for racing, you can at least enjoy some racing on a Saturday night for just five bucks and eat steaks while watching lol... We also have some other irons in the fire that will give VSP even more exposure world-wide... Since we don't make any money, it's hard for the track to get anything other than some really good exposure... I'm not sure if any other track in the U.S. is webcasting live every week... We hope this will change and we are looking for anyone interested in sponsoring the webcasting... We are adding two more people to our crew this week as we'll go to a fourth camera which will be "roving" the pits... Jim Cone, the 50/50 guy from OSW is going to start selling DVD's for us this week too... Jim has a unique approach... Once he goes into your trailer, he won't leave until you buy a DVD!!! (Just kidding)... But Jim is a pretty good salesman... VSP, hands down, has the best racing show in the State right now, so it's a lot of fun putting this whole gig together... Maybe one of these days we'll turn a profit... By the way, we are looking for some other avenues in racing as we are going to be needing more programming in the coming months... Looking for drag racing, karting, motorcycle facilities that would be interested in getting some publicity...
