No offense Ron, but you are buddies with Don and you will be treated as such when you visit his track. Try racing for him on a weekly basis and not being in his click. Totally different story. As for Joyce, we all commend your efforts to try and promote the track and help resolve problems. Keep up the good work and positive attitude. Columbia needs it. But like Todd said, some things you can't fix. You just don't have the authority. The only one that can do that is the owner/manager. Don has to be willing to listen to drivers and take their concerns seriously. Not laugh and ridicule them when they do try to talk to him. Until He and Sandy themselves try talking to some of the drivers and make honest attempts to resolve honest problems, things will never improve. Best of luck C.M.P.

this certain track owner is the worst i have ever seen with favortism. Over the years i have seen his buddies cars at his tracks get protested and him the promoter who should be unbias was arguing the illegal parts everyone was staring at were not illegal. He has not let teardowns take place but only to certain people. I have seen his buddies racing and spin out by themselves and get sent to the rear only to have him go to the flagstand and say put him back up front. Now i will say this is from over 25 years of being around racing but when we went to a track and found out he was promoting it it did not take long to find out who was in his "click" at whatever track we might be at.

A phone call asking why you are not there is greatly appreciated. I love racing a Columbia but finances have kept me away this season but me and my turtle will be there as much as possible the rest of the season.

Yes, a phone call can make a world of difference. I spoke with Joyce at great length and if she can get the things done that we discussed, CMP will once again be an awesome track to race at.
