Way back,there were times we combind classes that were very close to each other[strait up,but slower started up front],or even run as two at the same time to give a show[racing with enough cars=show]back then that number was about 12 per race min..
Was done by [if they look alike they go together]fastist starts in rear] and to be interesting the payout for a twin class race was set up,with a over all pay of 1st 2,3,3,5th and then the slower class cars also got a lower payed 1.2.3.4.5,fore class= slower class could finish 1st, in class plus 4th over all and get both over all 4th pay+1st in class pay.
less then 5th got $5,but it was only $8 to get in with you & car and spot to park was free.
Giving free grandstand tickets to schools[one adult with 2 kids per] for seats that are not sold anyway,is away to pick up some fans,but thay need to go with a flyer with info[not to much detail or it will not be read]about what goes on and how. Some one new coming to a race really need some info even before they get there so they at lest know a little about whats happening too enjoy it at all,and wish to come back.

yep , they came once , left in disgust . yes the economy plays a part , robert harts economy that is ! and if they opened the pit gate earlier and tech each car before it goes on the track for practice they could get it done . and if found illegal fix it or go home . no more of this we need the cars crap ! thats not fair to the guys who are legal .and if you are found illegal you must be torn down again before you race . advertising is a wonderful thing but just lower the grandstand to $10 every week , double the payoff with no dolly parton drop off , open the gates earlier , open the concession stand when the gates open and problem solved . fans will come , cars will come , plenty of money to be made and payed out . very simple common sense solution ,but mr hart doesnt have common sense obviously . and with the employees gettin a check regardless any positive change means more work , and longer hours . nothing is going to change with fascar until andrew takes over and cleans house .
