A few have to see what commitments they have that day, but are definitely interested.

It's been a dream come true just talking with these guys on the phone. I've gotten a lifetime of stories over the last 2 month's, and not even thinking of slowing down anytime soon.

P.S. - Don't hold my feet to the fire about who shows and who doesn't. Use the old Promoters Sliderule.... take the amount that SAY they are coming, divide that in half, and add 5!

Even if only half show up, it's still a Hall of Fame type group!

I thought I had an in to get a hold of Fuzzy Van Horn, but I don't think the Dirt Track Digest forum moderator likes me any more...

        What about Wily Will?.....

        Jerry....what about Cagle?

Didn't I just see a picture of him driving a legend at OSW's Winter Series?

Like him or hate him, he was one of the best.

Incidentally, if Jane had mentioned Cagle was one of the 81 in her report, I probably would have sided with her and then jumped on the "Kick Frasson" bandwagon........at least until you screamed uncle and treated me to a Guinness.

Who am I kidding........I could never join forces with the dark side.
        LONG LIVE THE REBELLION!!!

        BIG lol

If could talk to him...damn straight he'd get an invitation... maybe even a begging. He was THE toughest competitor on our circuit in the late 70's, and was tough long before we got there, and he still was for long after. That guy, on dirt, was the equivalant of Richie Evans on asphalt. Only the "Ole Pro" Frankie Schneider was better than Will, and Kenny Brightbill was close. If I had to vote on a top 5 of all-time, those 3 would be in it. 4th and 5th would be VERY tough to call, but the top 3 would be simple.

Kinda like Kinser, Swindell and Wolfgang... how do you pick 4th and 5th after them?

          The REBELLION RULES!

Hell, I'll buy you a Guiness just for saying that!
