New Hampshire made me very happy very sad

Anyone torn like me today with the finish of the New Hampshire race? On one hand, I was very happy Jeff Gordon didn't win because the next time he wins, he'll have 83 and tie Cale Yarborough and the next win after that will tie him with Darrell Waltrip and Bobby Allison. Maybe I'm bitter but I don't want any driver from today breaking the records of the drivers who were around when NASCAR was actually good. On the other hand, I'm sad and bitter Joey Logano won because although he has talent, he's just another in the mold of today's current drivers, never had to work for anything, had everything handed to him, never had to start out in NASCAR running in second rate equipment and work his way up totop of the line equipment.

It wasn't much of a race anyway , and i HATE races that end because of rain .
With the new business model that Nascar teams follow , we've long ago seen the last driver to work his way up in inferior equipment . Drivers are hired as " development " drivers and get placed into top flight ARCA or Nascar East or West cars . They continue into Truck or Nationwide in the best equipment , and then on to Cup . The thinking is that in order to show what a young driver can do , he should be in the best ride available so that the car doesn't affect his performance . Then team owners get a better idea of what talent these guys really have .
Lagano raced short tracks , he paid dues . Not the dues of some , but far more than others i could name . And of course players get recruited for ball clubs right out of High School with no experience whatsoever . Isn't fair , but thats how the system works .

you know some thing i hate i thought 48- 24 were team mates

why is it that jimmy johson gets his panties in a wad if gordan gets ahead of him and he could care less if jeff is on out side of some one in the corner johnson will have to drive down in the grass and make it three wide to try to push gordon tru wall

am i the only one that see's this i am not a gordon fan and i sure ain't a johnson fan but they should at least be team mates
