You're right Marshall , me and Frass aren't to be messed with , we're a couple of bad dudes . By the way , an open face sandwich only has 1 slice of bread .
I don't know how familier you are with forums , but belive me they're all pretty much like this one . There are always a few leaders , intelligent measured men and women who strive for truth , fairness , and excellence in journalism . Then there is the relatively silent majority ( Carol says there are thousands of them ) who read the posts and agree , disagree , or couldn't care less . Then there are the agitators , the trouble makers , the malcontents like me who have no problem expressing an opinion . And there's room here for all of the above . The reaction that Bobby Diehl got on this board was brought on by none other than Bobby himself . In fact , the first person to call Bobby out for his obnoxious posts and attempts to dominate the board was one of the afoementioned intelligent men , Rex .
Carol and Jane do tend to overuse the martydom routine , but they both feel just as strongly about their views as you do yours . And that means they can put anything on the board that they feel is relevent , or interesting , or will begin a discussion . I don't know either one of them so i can't be too hard on them . But i do know that some of the comments here concerning Carols' post about Michael Jackson were uncalled for .
As to the idea (that everyone seems to have ) that Carol and Jane control this board and can have comments deleted at will , and can have people banned , i hope that isn't true . I can't imagine why either would think they have any right to bar people or comments . Of course two of my favorite people on this board have vanished , so maybe they can . I hope not , it takes more than a thin skin to decide who is important and who isn't .
