  • Bar B Que at Volusia - yes, you are invited

Its gonna be an excellent night of racing at VSP this week, so to celebrate, Jerry "Frasson 118" Binner is throwing one of his signature race track bar b que parties. We'll be in the "drive-in" section of turns 1 and 2 at Volusia Speedway. Naturally, everyone is welcome for some good food, a couple of laughs and dirt late model racing too.

Since we have no idea of exactly how many are coming, I'd like to suggest bringing something to eat or drink so we can add it to the pile. Its not a requirement, but the more food the better, right?

Black tie optional. Daisey Dukes encouraged, (on ladies only).

Boneman, do it up big! VSP's special panel of judges be sampling those parties up in Turns 1 and 2 and sounds like you will be in the running to win the Tailgating Competition!

"Tailgate competition"? I heard about that last week, but had forgotten about it until now. How is that judged? Most calories consumed? Most empty beer cars laying around?

So what is the prize? Does the pay get cut if there are not enough entries?
Does last place get voted out of the drive-in?
Is there at least a Miss Congenialty award?

I understand that Jimbo (Old Style) won the competition last year, so beer consumption must have a lot to do with it. Then again, I overheard that he paid off Joe Dirt with burgers on the grill. LOL!

Jimbo! These wannabes are after your crown! ROFL!!!!

You guys better bring lots of food!! I'll be there and Joe Dirt consumes groceries like a Conehead! Jack Smith and Rick Anges too... Of course they will be selective... they only eat the gourmet BBQ... This will be a great evening if the dang weather will cooperate!!!!

Alex and I will also be there at Volusia tomorrow and this weather better not screw everything up. I am very excited about tomorrow night and the big race and the big mini stock race. Going to be a great night and a fun night for sure. Now - are you guys parking in the drive-in parking and what time do you think you will be there? I really want to come see everyone and don't have to start writing until the heat races begin and then I need to work. But I really would like to see Jerry and let him know it was not me who ban him from karnac.

And we can celebrate me not having a cigarette now for over 3 weeks. Can you believe it?? I really have had to fight hard not to smoke but so far, I haven't. I think shrimping has helped take my mind off that da$$ cigarette.

Anyway guys, look forward to tomorrow and seeing everyone. Call me on my cell phone if you need anythlng 321-794-5105.

                      See ya tomorrow
